Tendrabong (also spelled Tandrabong) is a quiet hamlet in the Kalimpong district of West Bengal, located within the Mayrong forest area and part of Saikyong Gram Panchayat. The village consists of around 165 households, and has traditionally been a farming community with large cardamom cultivation alongside potatoes, maize, and other crops to support local livelihoods.
By Air: Bagdogra International Airport (IXB) near Siliguri. From there you can take a taxi or shared vehicle toward Kalimpong or Pedong and then another vehicle to reach Tendrabong.
By Train: Nearest railway station is New Jalpaiguri (NJP) which is approximately 80-90 kilometers. From NJP, resevred cab or shared vehicles are the most comfortable way to reach Kalimpong, and then a reserved vehicle to Tendrabong.
By Road: If you are starting from Siliguri or NJP, which is about approximately 80-90 kilometers away from Tendrabong. The journey typically takes around 3 to 4 hours. Local taxis or reserved vehicles are the most comfortable way to reach the village.
