Mairung Gaon (also spelled Mayrong Gaon) is a quiet, off-the-beaten-path village in the Kalimpong district of West Bengal, nestled close to the Neora Valley National Park and surrounded by dense forests and hills. By Air: Closest airport to Mairung Gaon is Pakyong Airport - Sikkim (57 KM) but flights are limited and less reliable which makes Bagdogra the most reliable and preferred airport for travelling to Daragaon.
By Train: The nearest major railway station to Mairung Gaon is NJP Station, located approximately 85-90 kilometers away. NJP is a major railway hub connected to cities like Kolkata, Delhi, Guwahati, and other parts of India.
