What to See in Rongli

1) Reshikhola : Reshikhola Rishikhola is a tiny hamlet located at the border of West Bengal and East Sikkim. This is a check post point to enter Eastern Sikkim or Sikkim silk rout circuit. This is a serene and appealing village, located just beside the Reshi river bed. Rongli is only 20 kilometers from Reshikhola and easily accessible by cab so that anyone can do a day trip from here.

2) Padamchen : Padamchen is a small village located at the foot hill of Zuluk. So, it is called as lower Zuluk also. Some good homestays are available in Padamchen for accommodation. Travellers who don’t like to stay in chilled cool weather for night stay, Padamchen is a good option for them. Padamchen is only 21 kilometers from Rongli.

3) Zuluk : Zuluk is one of the most popular destination in Sikkim Silk Rout tour circuit. The famous zigzag road is visible from here only. Rongli is only 30 kilometers from Zuluk. If anyone is making a plan to visit Zuluk, can do a day trip easily from Rongli.

4) Nathang Valley : Nathang Valley is the top most staying point in Sikkim Silk Rout area and it is about 53 kilometers by road to reach Nathang Valley from Rongli. The sightseeing points of Nathang valley you can cover from Rongli through entire a day.

5) Rongli River Views: Scenic river valleys and mountain streams surrounding the town create peaceful natural surroundings.

6) Silk Route Entry Point: Rongli is the official permit and entry point for travelers heading toward the Old Silk Route region.

7) Rorathang: A small riverside town on the way to Rongli known for green valley roads and local markets.

8) Mountain Roads & Valleys: The roads around Rongli pass through forests, river bends, and scenic mountain landscapes.
