1. Ghoom Monastery (Yiga Choeling) – Established in 1850 by the Mongolian astrologer and monk Sokpo Sherab Gyatso, this is one of the oldest and most popular monasteries in the region. It is famous for its 15-foot high statue of the Maitreya Buddha.

2. Batasia Loop – Located very close to Ghoom, this spiral railway was created to lower the gradient of the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway. It features a lush garden and a War Memorial, offering a 360-degree view of Darjeeling and the Kanchenjunga range.

3. Ghoom Railway Station – Standing at an altitude of 7,407 feet, it is the highest railway station in India and a key stop for the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway heritage steam engines.

4. Darjeeling Himalayan Railway Museum – Located right at the Ghoom station premises, this museum showcases the history of the "Toy Train," featuring rare photos and the oldest engine of the DHR.

5. Tiger Hill – Situated at the highest point in the area, Tiger Hill is globally famous for its spectacular sunrise views over Mt. Kanchenjunga and Mt. Everest.

6. Senchal Wildlife Sanctuary – One of the oldest wildlife sanctuaries in India, located near Ghoom, it is home to high-altitude flora and fauna and serves as a peaceful trekking destination.

7. Dali Monastery – A massive and colorful monastery located on the road between Ghoom and Darjeeling town, known for its vibrant Tibetan architecture and peaceful environment
