The 4th shift of safari includes lite snacks and tribal dance. Therefore the last safari costs approx. Rs.500 more per Gypsy.
* There is no popular watch tower concept. It is just a jungle safari and there are a few small watch towers from where tourists can watch wildlife.
Elephant Safari (Jaldapara Side):
There are two popular elephant safari routes in the Jaldapara region:
● Jaldapara
● Chilapata
Per person charge: ₹1200.
● Tickets must be booked one day in advance. Same-day tickets are not issued.
Tourists can reach the elephant safari points by:
● Private vehicle, or
● Rented vehicle
Since the drive to the safari point is inside the core forest, a guide is mandatory, and the guide charge is ₹350.

Safari Information (General):
1) One Gypsy can accommodate up to 6 persons.
2) For all safaris (except Dhupjhora Elephant Safari), a guide is mandatory.
3) Tourists must carry 2–4 photocopies of a valid identity card along with the original.
4) ** All safaris across Dooars remain closed on Thursdays.
5) From 15th June to 14th September, all safaris remain closed due to the monsoon season.
