By Train: The nearest major railway station to Rongo is New Mal Junction (NMZ), located approximately 35 km away. It is well connected to major cities like Kolkata, Siliguri, and Guwahati. From New Mal Junction, you can hire a taxi or take a shared vehicle to reach Rongo via Lava or Gorubathan.

By Air: The closest airport to Rongo is Bagdogra Airport (IXB), around 95 km away. This airport has regular flights from Kolkata, Delhi, and other major Indian cities. From Bagdogra, travelers can hire a private cab or avail shared transportation to reach Rongo via Siliguri–Gorubathan route.

By Road: Rongo is well connected by road to nearby towns like Gorubathan (14 km), Lava (23 km), and Kalimpong (55 km). Private taxis and shared jeeps are available from these towns. The journey offers scenic views through winding forest roads and picturesque tea gardens, adding to the charm of the destination.
