Tumling, at around 9,600 ft on the Sandakphu route, is a ridge village located along the India–Nepal border. It is known for its wide, open views of Kanchenjunga and surrounding Himalayan peaks. The best time to visit is from March to May and October to November, when the skies remain clear and the mountains are visible. Monsoon brings fog and limited views, while winters are cold with occasional frost.
