The closest major railway station is New Jalpaiguri (NJP), around 75 km from Tukvar. Taxis are available from NJP, and the journey takes about 3.5 to 4 hours.

By Road:
Tukvar is well connected by road and is located close to Darjeeling town. Shared and private taxis are easily available from Siliguri, NJP, Bagdogra, and Darjeeling.
