The best time to visit Tonglu is from March to June and October to November, when the weather remains clear and suitable for trekking. Located along the Singalila Ridge near the Sandakphu route, Tonglu offers breathtaking panoramic views of major Himalayan peaks including Kanchenjunga and even glimpses of Everest on clear days. Spring is especially vibrant with blooming rhododendrons, while autumn provides the clearest mountain views. Monsoon brings dense fog and heavy rainfall, making trekking difficult, and winters are extremely cold but peaceful.
