Sringeri:

Sringeri is a town located in the Western Ghats of Karnataka, known primarily as a major pilgrimage destination. It is home to the Sri Sharadamba Temple, dedicated to Goddess Saraswati. Sringeri also houses the Sringeri Sharada Peetham, one of the four mathas established by Adi Shankaracharya.

By Air: Nearest airport: Mangalore International Airport (about 110 km), From there, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to Sringeri (3–4 hours)

By Train: Nearest railway stations: Udupi Railway Station (~80 km), Shimoga Railway Station (~105 km), From the station, taxis and buses are available

By Road: Well connected by KSRTC and private buses, Direct buses available from cities like: Bangalore, Mangalore, Udupi, Chikmagalur
