How To Reach Sherpa Gaon

By Air: Book a flight to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) near Siliguri. This airport is well-connected by domestic airlines to major cities in India. From Bagdogra Airport, you can arrange a pickup through your accommodation or you will need to hire a private taxi to get to Sherpa Gaon. 

By Train:  Take a train to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP). Preferrably, you can arrange a pickup through your accommodation or look for taxis or shared taxis heading towards Kalimpong or Lamahatta/Sherpa Gaon. The drive from NJP to Sherpa Gaon will take around 2.5 to 3 hours.

By Road: Begin your journey from Kalimpong, a well-known town in the West Bengal district of the same name. Head from Kalimpong towards Loleygaon. The journey takes approximately 33 kilometers. This involves local road through the scenic landscape. Follow the local roads to the small village of Sherpa Gaon.
