Uttarey: Uttarey is a very restful and lovely tiny village in West Sikkim. The famous Singalila trek starts from here. So this place is popular among trekkers. How to reach Hee Bermiok

By Air: The closest airport to Hee Bermiok is Bagdogra Airport (IXB), located about 130 km away in West Bengal. Major cities in India, such as Kolkata, Delhi, and Guwahati, have regular flights to Bagdogra. Once you arrive at Bagdogra, you can hire a taxi or take a shared cab to reach Hee Bermiok. 

By Train: The nearest railway station to Hee Bermiok is New Jalpaiguri (NJP), which is approximately 125 km away. NJP is well-connected to major cities across India, including Kolkata, Delhi, and Mumbai. From NJP, you can hire a taxi or utilize shared jeep services that run frequently to Gyalshing and Hee Bermiok.

By Road; If you prefer to drive, the journey to Hee Bermiok can be a scenic experience. The roads may be hilly and winding, but they offer breathtaking views of the mountains and valleys.

          From Siliguri: Head towards Gyalshing via the NH10 highway. The distance is approximately 120 km and usually takes around 4-5 hours. From Gyalshing, continue another 24 km on the Gyalshing to Hee Bermiok road.

          From Gangtok: Hee Bermiok is about 85 km from Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim. The journey takes about 3-4 hours by road

The best time to visit Hee Bermiok is from March to May and October to November, when the weather remains clear and the surroundings are fully visible. Hee Bermiok is a quiet rural area made up of small villages, farmland, and open hills. It offers wide views of Kanchenjunga on clear days, along with a slower pace of life. Monsoon brings heavy rain and low visibility.
