Dooars or Duars is one of the best tourist destinations at the Foothill of Eastern Himalaya. The place is a beautiful combination of Mountain, Tea Gardens, Forest and River Bank. All the flavors of the  nature you can relish at the different part of this vast region. Different types of flora and fauna you can encounter while exploring the forest. A large number of tea gardens you can find there. Even there are some resorts in Dooars  where you can experience the beauty of tea garden along with tea leaves plucking seen.  Some hotels of Dooars are situated at the bank of river. You can  hear the roar and melody both in these hotels. Sometimes you can experience  the beauty of mountains and the river both from one accommodation in Dooars. Moreover, the most thrilling experience and life time achievement is to do Forest Safari. That may be Jeep Safari or Elephant Safari. There are so many forests, where you can do the safaris.   If you are lucky enough, you can spend your entire life with the thrilling and charming memory of Dooars.    

How to reach Dooars

By air: Bagdogra Airport (IXB). As Dooars is stretched a wide range of West Bengal, the different places will take different time to reach tthere. Minimum time duration will be more or less 2 hours.

By Train: New Jalpaiguri Railway Station. As Dooars is stretched a wide range of West Bengal, the different places will take different time to reach tthere. Minimum time duration will be more or less 2 hours. There are also some local stop Station, from where you can reach Dooars more easily.  

By Road: The major entry points are from Siliguri, approximately 80 kilometers away. You can take National Highway 27 (NH27) or National Highway 12 (NH12) to access Dooars.
